Day of Mourning

Across Canada, April 28th has been designated the National Day of Mourning.

Every year workers, families, employers, and communities come together at ceremonies held around the Province to remember those who have lost their lives to work-related incidents or occupational disease and to re-new our commitment to creating healthy and safe workplaces.

Kamloops’ Day of Mourning ceremony will take place at St. Andrews on the Square (corner of 2nd Avenue and Seymour Street) at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 28th.
